The Saturdays became very popular with Frankie Valli's Beggin cover. After Pilooski's edit this song encountered all kinds of brutality cause all the bands of the world wanted to cover it somehow. 

The Saturdays is a new group. They were formed in 2007. Their first album was called Chasing Lights and two singles entered British charts from top 10. 

They also covered Depeche Mode classic Just Can't Get Enough for Comic Relief. The song entered the UK charts from second spot.

The band is formed of very beautiful ladies; Una Healy, Mollie King, Frankie Sanford, Vanessa White and Rochelle Wiseman.

Taschen's Paris - Recommendation

After talking on Paris if you plan a visit to French capital i must recommend a book for you. 

Taschen is one of my favourite publishers. Their hardcover coffee table books are great to have, expensive but some of them are really cool.

Taschen's Paris is a book of recommendations in Paris including hip hotels, coffee shops, boutiques and landmarks.

Sarkozy will rebuild Paris

French President Nicolas Sarkozy announced yesterday that one of the biggest development projects of the world will take place in Paris in the upcoming 13 years.

France will spend around 30 billion Euros for 10 projects that will turn Paris into economic centre of the world.

A 130 km metro line will reunite Paris as the city is divided by a highway. Paris municipality will allow building of  20 skyscrapers in the centre of the city and every year around 70000 new flats will be built into the city to provide for the housing demand. The population of the city centre is now 2,5 million reaching 12 million with the suburbs. With the new projects Paris will reach a population of 23 million people.

A new forest will be created near De Gaulle Airport and one of the biggest technology parks of the world will be built near Saclay.

Nicolas Sarkozy says while answering financial concerns "Answer to the crisis is great projects. France will ony emerge with great projects."

Samoa's Big Problem

As you can see Samoa looks pretty cool. South of Equator between New Zealand and Hawai. 180.000 people live there and earn 6000 average per month.

The countries biggest issue these days was the money spent on healthcare. The lack of hi-tech health facilities made Samoa government pay more than 3 million dollars to operations in New Zealand and Australia.

Some more facts about Samoa;

-They gained independence from New Zealand in 1962. 

-It is administrated by constitutional monarchy. 

-Coconut is the main import of the country. 2/3 of the labour works in agriculture. 

-The main sport in the country is rugby followed by Samoan cricket.
