Wishlist Item No:1 WD HD Media Player

Hasan told me about this thing. I had no idea about it. I follow hardware news but just missed this great device.

This media player from Western Digital will solve all my problems in regards to downloaded video content. 

I was too lazy to write movies or tv shows on cds and go out and buy instead sometimes. This device will help me watch all the movies in my 320 GB external disk.

The price is 100 USD on Amazon but around 200 USD here in Istanbul. I will buy this as soon as possible. I heard there is also one pirate version that helps you download at the same time as well. But i will go on the safe side in the beginning.

History rewritten

After 33 years, today labor unions walk to Taksim Square. Around 5000 people walked to the centre of Istanbul to remember the one that died on bloody May 1, 1977.

Turkish government decided that 1 May will be public holiday last week, however permission to be on Taksim Square was undecided. 

Last year the city was blocked by governorship. This year police has been more understanding and not much happened besides some minor fights in narrow streets that lead to Taksim.

I hope history won't repeat itself in the upcoming years.

Lily Allen is soon to be the queen of scandals but some of her songs are really good and Littlest Things is one of them. I also like the song Not Fair from her last album.

Born on 2 May, 1985 Allen made her first breakthrough from Myspace. Her first album sold more 2,5 million copies. She still uses Myspace extensively to criticise media.

Football Round-up Midweek

Ersun Yanal left his managerial post at Trabzonspor. Trabzonspor continues to waste trainers as the clubs search for success progresses.

Barcelona-Chelsea; Art vs Power. Power won in the first leg. Barcelona will win hopefully and be in Rome. If United and Chelsea progresses to final once again it will be a shame for football.

Who will be the champions in Turkey? Don't know really. But Sivasspor is the biggest favourite on my side. However it would be strange to watch Balili in Nou Camp or Old Trafford. 

Elano who is one my favourite players is signing a new deal for Manchester City. 

Eric Gerets of Marseille is leaving at the end of the season. He claims that president does not believe in him and shows no gratitude. Galatasaray shall definitely sign him again with this great squad.

Newcastle going down, Owen says that Newcastle is doomed to lose at Anfield.
