25 de Abril Bridge - Lisbon

Today i drove over the 25 de April Bridge in Lisbon. The weather was perfect and there was no traffic at all.

The bridge looked stunning and looked a lot like Golden Gate. I read it in on Wikipedia that a company from Los Angeles built that bridge however they were not the ones building the Golden Gate. So they probably took the design of the other bridge in San Francisco and built in Lisbon.

The bridge is on Tagus River. And was named after Salazar until 1974.

Lisbon is a great city and i need to come back soon for a holiday this time.

Geneva Airport Part 2

About 8 months ago i wrote an article on Geneva Airport.

I was very unhappy with my last experiences there, so i wrote the article down to record in my blog. Now it is time to correct it. First of all Geneva Airport has improved lately.

The constructions are not effecting the airport operations. The passport police is more kinder than before. The time spend to reach the exit has been shortened.

I went there with 17 packets and the time of the delivery of these boxes took quite some time which is acceptable.

I have one more planned trip to Geneva in May. I will see whether things will get better or not. On the other hand Charles de Gaulle Airport of Paris is a crazy place. The biggest airport i have ever seen and not really organized. Maybe it is because of the strike but there were nowhere to sit in the F Terminal last week.

My short review of HTC Hero

I had the chance to look into HTC Hero and here is what i like and i dislike;

Liked

Great design matched with an ideal size. One of the most convenient phones i have ever used.

Interaction with the phone is really good. Great menus. Android is working really well.

Screen is nice. Trackball is OK.

Android Store is open for improvement. HTC Hero is a nice alternative for Iphone but no Iphone killer i am afraid.

Price is OK as well.

Easy to adapt.

Disliked

The virtual keyboard is very small. Takes time to use properly if you have big fingers.

Only comes with one game.

The camera is not the best but this is a problem of all mobile devices.

The price is around 950 TL.
