Mishima Home for the Elderly

[gallery link="file" orderby="rand"]

Japan is known for respect to elderly citizens of the community.

They know show it in their homes for elderly.

Town of Mishima which looks up to Mount Fuji built this architectural wonder for the elderly citizens.

It cost 7 million dollars and here is some more info from World Architecture News site:

"The architects aim was to create an environment where not only aged residents but also their families and carers are inspired through experiencing seasonal transitions and by the beauty of the scenery, making for a joyful experience and allowing the recovery of body and mind."

Hi, there!
I'm currently writing a research on residential buildings and I'm interested in focusing on this home for elderly people in mishima. Unfortunately, I'm not able to find any floor plans, cross sections, or whatsoever apart from these pictures. If there is anybody who could give me more information about it, I'll appreciate it. thanks in advance.
