Today's recommendation: Definitely Maybe

[gallery link="file" orderby="rand"]

I really don't like Ryan Reynolds. He was OK in 2 Guys 1 Girl series and also in some other movies but he crossed the line by getting married to Scarlett Johansson.
But i love this movie. It reminds me of How i Met Your Mother profoundly but it is a heartwarming movie. A great way to spend 2 hours. Worth the money by all means.

Abigail Breslin is also acting superb.

1 Week To Go

In 7 days the UEFA Cup Final will be played and this huge task will hopefully be a good memory in my mind.

However the last few days are passing very slowly. I am stressed and anxiously waiting for the final.

Here are some news from the LOC office:

-Some officials from UEFA and TEAM arrived in the beginning of the week. The offices and stadium became very crowded. A construction goes on in every corner.

-Brandings started to be put in place and stadium started to look fantastic. They build up the suspense of the crowd living around as well.

-Ticket sales continue. From this adress you can get yourself up to 4 tickets for this memorable event.

-As this is the last UEFA Cup Final everybody is doing their best for the best final possible.

-Media events of the finalists were announced yesterday. You can check uefa.com for update.

-Colleagues from TEAM prefer to eat pizza from Pizza Hut and ice cream from Ben&Jerries.

-Galatasaray shall cry as it was so easy for them to come here. But they just gave up everything so stupidly. If it were them that will be playing the final the athmosphere would have been totally different.

10 Great Things About Angels&Demons Movie

[gallery link="file" columns="4" orderby="rand"]

Spoiler Alert

1- The Vatican City: I have been there once and it's very impressive. I believe everybody shall go and see it once in a lifetime. You can see how Vatican put together wealth and religion together. By the way film wasn't shot in Vatican City. A replica set was built. It looked amazing.

2- Vittoria Vetra: Perfect casting for the role. I wish the story in the book fit with her story in the movie. But no. She is the one that created the antimatter particles with her lab partner/step father in the book. Her name is Ayelet Zurer by the way and she is from Israel. She looks young however she is 40 years old.

3-Antimatter Experiment: That was really good. How antimatter was produced in CERN was a interesting to watch.

4- Vatican Library: Just like i imagined when i read the book. The book is really descriptive and it is both an advantage and disadvantage for the movie. Advantage as it has all the tiny details for creating the perfect set, Disadvantage as readers know it all.

5-  The Path of Illumination: It is told in the best way way possible. Simple and clear. Now this path will be full of tourists and new tours will be up for grabs as Rome's popularity peaks. I am planning a new trip to Rome in autumn for a revisit after 10 years.

6- Cars: Lancia Delta. The cars that Swiss Guards are using in the movie. They looked great. Especially the car scenes are really well shot. They raise the tension of the movie while travelling on the Path of Illumination.

7-Soundtrack: Hans Zimmer did great once again. An epic soundtrack that fit the movie really well. Violin solos are done by Joshua Bell.

8- Ewan Mc Gregor: Another perfect casting for the role of Camerlengo. He is simply brilliant. I missed him since Star Wars.  He did some documentaries for Discovery in between two epic roles.

9- The Blast: The explosion of anti matter is fantastic. What a shot. The effects are great so are the colours and scenery after the explosion. Eve you hate this movieyou will love the explosion scene. Guaranteed.

10- Illuminati Ambigrams: Even though they are means of evil but still looking cool. Some people already having tattoos of those ambigrams. How nice isn't it?

These pictures are the plans of National Children's Museum to be opened in Maryland, USA in the year 2013. The company that prepared the project is called Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects.

Here is some more info for you:

"When completed, the 150,000 sq ft four-storey LEED-certified building will serve as a teaching tool for children, inspiring them to be good stewards of the environment. Other features of the building include a boat slip on the Potomac, which will accommodate science and boating activities and a gathering space in the nearby woodlands. The new museum is slated to open in 2013."

Why Barcelona-Man Utd Final is not good for Istanbul?

[gallery link="file" columns="2" orderby="rand"]

Last weeks semi final between Chelsea and Barcelona created a huge buzz around the world.

Many football enthusiasts supported Barcelona during that game and even my neighbour was shouting after the last minute goal of Andres Iniesta. I was not really that happy about it. Not because i am not in favour of Barcelona against Chelsea but this years final tie is not exceptionally good for promotion of Istanbul and Turkey.

As many of you know Istanbul is hosting UEFA Cup Final as Rome hosts UEFA Champions League. These are the biggest football events of the year as there is no Euro nor a World Cup. UCL Final is always the highlight of club competition but Istanbul has been trying hard to steal this glamour from Rome this year.

The finalists Bremen and Shakhtar are not really helping for the promotion but i believe it will be a very amusing final. Rome is lucky with Barcelona and Manchester United but infrastructural problems are hitting them. I believe if Chelsea beat Barca last week Istanbul and UEFA Cup Final had the chance to surpass the UCL final maybe first time in history.

As you remember last year Chelsea and Manchester United were the finalists in Moscow and if they did it once again in Rome that would have degraded the fan appeal to the final. Unluckily Iniesta scored 90+3 goal and UEFA Cup's hope for becoming the highligt in its last season ended.

By the way Turkey and Italy are competing for hosting of Euro 2016  and this rivalry between Rome and Istanbul as potential football capitals of Euro 2016 is also interesting to watch.
